Here are 4 additional things we can take care of for you when you are moving internationally:
When moving internationally, the only points that can affect the quotation are:
-The volume (the final invoice will be based on the final packed volume)
-Not announced access difficulties at destination (ex: long distance, stair carry)
-Unexpected difficulties arising during the moving day and not under our control (ex: elevator out-of-service)
-A variation of the freight costs that would have occurred between the quotation time and the release of the shipment
-Additional customs fees at destination (inspection fees, quarantine fees, import duties)
-Additional container detention fees and port storage fees due to documents not remitted on time (we need you to provide documents and information to allow us to clear customs, if you are not able to provide this information when we need them, we would not be able to proceed with the clearance of your goods and storage charges would therefore occur)
Your removal consultant will go with you through each room of your home in order to list all of the items that you wish to include in your removal.
All our removal consultants are trained to have a keen eye so that by guiding them through your home and by showing them an exhaustive description of what needs to be moved, they will be able to come up with a very detailed and accurate estimate of the final volume to be moved.
You will then receive a service offer based on your needs and on the estimated volume we calculated.
Note that for smaller volumes, it is possible to perform the volume estimate through photos or videos.
For bigger volume, it is recommended to perform physical home surveys.
A regular move starts usually around 9 AM~9:30AM

In general, you can expect a discount when no unpacking service is needed.
However, the discount amount will be different depending on the country of destination and it is not likely to be major.
The reason for this is because the majority of the costs at THE destination will stay the same (costs for clearing customs, costs for the logistics between the port and the delivery address, movers’ salaries).
The only difference is the number of assigned movers that may vary from a move where unpacking would be required.
The average between the time we are first being contacted and the first packing day is 1.5 months.
Our advice is to get in touch with us as soon as the decision to move has been made so that you get to know the moving process (which documents will be required and when they will be required).
The volume estimate and quotation part can be addressed at a later stage (1.5 months before the packing day is a good period).
Confirming the packing day can be done at any time (we sometimes move people with only a few hours notice). However, manpower availabilities should be considered, especially during higher seasons (summer and before Chinese New Year). During these periods, it is strongly recommended to lock your desired moving dates as early as possible.
The impact of an item on the total moving cost depends greatly on the shipping option (air or sea, dedicated container or shared container).
Also, for a smaller move, adding or removing an item would have a bigger impact on the final moving costs than when doing so with a bigger move.
Finally, moving costs are not increasing or decreasing in a linear way, in the sense that some costs are fixed, some costs vary per segment of volumes and some costs vary with every item added or removed from the move.
The easiest way for us to help you for deciding what to take and what not is to tell us during the survey which items you definitely want to take with you and which items are optional. We will provide multiple quotations that will help you make your decision.
In general, we recommend preparing and sorting out your move as much as possible before the arrival of the movers so that you are not moving anything to your new home that you are not using anymore.
There are basically 4 means of transportation to move your boxes:
Truck (local and domestic moves)
Air (domestic and international moves)
Sea (international moves)
Rail (domestic moves)

The loading volume or final packed volume is the volume loaded in the truck or container.
It is the volume that the boxes and furniture will take into the truck or container once all put together.
The packing list volume is the addition of the volumes of each box and piece of furniture.
It doesn't take into consideration the space left between 2 items nor the space optimization between 2 fitting shapes and may therefore be different from the loading volume.
Our invoices are based on the final packed volumes (volume known only once the container or truck is loaded).
Most of the time, the final packed volume is very close to the estimated volume.
If the final packed volume is under the estimate, we will refund the difference, if above we will charge the difference.
